Meet Paige Scrofani, LCSW
As founder of Silver Thread Behavioral Health, Paige Scrofani, LCSW (she/her) brings warmth, direct communication, and evidence-based practices to every therapeutic relationship. Recognizing the courage it takes to seek help, she created a practice rooted in compassion, inclusion, and emotional safety — a space where clients can explore their experiences without fear of judgment and build meaningful, lasting change.
Paige draws from extensive training in trauma-informed care, anxiety treatment, and family systems work. She integrates modalities such as EMDR, CBT, DBT, and ERP, tailoring her approach to meet each client’s needs and goals. She works with individuals of all ages, couples, and families, offering both in-person sessions in New York City and remote therapy for clients across New York State.
Her therapeutic style blends structure with flexibility, combining skill-building with deep emotional work. Whether supporting a teen through a difficult life transition or helping an adult process trauma, Paige is committed to creating a collaborative and empowering space. She believes that real transformation doesn’t just happen in session — it happens in everyday life, when clients apply new insights, try new tools, and begin to reconnect with their sense of agency and authenticity.
Outside of therapy, Paige is a lifelong learner and advocate. Her work is grounded in values of trauma-informed care, LGBTQ+ affirmation, racial justice, and accessibility in mental health. She’s passionate about helping clients not only feel better but also feel more like themselves.
